Prysm Strings – Main Line provides exceptional string ensemble training and performance opportunities across three divisions: Prysm Prep (beginner), Prysm Strings Young Artists (intermediate), and Prysm Strings (advanced), offering individualized instruction, ensemble experience, and technical development through side-by-side rehearsals with professional faculty.

Location: Parish House of the Church of the Redeemer (230 Pennswood Rd, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010)

Schedule: Fridays, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (mid-September – mid-May)

Open to: Violin, viola, cello, and double bass players

Ages: Kindergarten – 12th grade

Auditions & Enrollment

2025/2026 Season Audition Date:

• Friday, May 16, 2025: 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Placement:

Students are selected and placed into Prysm Prep, Prysm Strings Young Artists, or Prysm Strings based on musical ability, maturity, and experience.

Audition Requirements:

Prysm Prep (Beginner)

1. Required scales
2. One solo piece from Suzuki Book 1 or 2 (or equivalent)

Tuition & Financial Aid

• Annual Tuition: $1,995 (2024-2025 season)
• Non-refundable deposit: $550 due upon registration
