Emilie: 6 years (Prysm Strings, PYMO/YMDO, PYAO, PYO)

Emilie: Eric Xie in Prysm Strings, 2022

Do you have any plans or activities planned for the summer?

Emilie: Interning with the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival, working part-time at a cafe, playing volleyball, and traveling.
Chloe: I plan on spending time at Hersheypark and working!

What is one of your favorite PYOMI memories?

Emilie: Buying a crepe maker for $1 during the St Patrick’s Church Christmas drive this year!
Chloe: My favorite memories include hanging out and talking with everyone backstage before a concert.

What are your most recent musical and/or academic achievements?

Emilie: National Merit Scholar Finalist and Gold Key in Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

What are some of your favorite pieces of music that you have performed with PYOMI?

Chloe: I’ve really enjoyed playing Scheherazade, Tchaikovsky’s 6th Symphony, and Hanson’s 2nd Symphony.

When you are not in rehearsal or practicing your instrument, what other activities or hobbies do you enjoy?

Emilie: I like being outside, learning guitar, writing, hanging out with friends, playing sports, and taking pictures.
Chloe: I love reading, crocheting, and playing with my dogs and cat!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What do you see yourself doing?

Chloe: In 10 years, I see myself playing a lot of music!
