Now Accepting Rolling 2024-2025 Audition Applications

Bravo Brass auditions are open to student brass players ranging in age from 12 through 21 years.

Bravo Brass rehearsals take place on Mondays from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., mid-September through early-June, at Saint Patrick Hall (240 South 20th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103).

Audition Requirements

High school and college-aged players are required to play their choice of a solo or two contrasting etudes. In addition, each player must perform the required excerpts for their instrument. Please download the required excerpts below.

Brass players of middle school age should be prepared to play their choice of a solo, two contrasting etudes, or several sections from their current ensemble music that represent their current level of playing.

The applicant and/or parent/guardian agree that all decisions concerning placement and participation in the Bravo Brass program are at the sole discretion of the artistic staff, and that their decisions are final.

Annual tuition for the 2024-2025 season is $1,995. A non-refundable deposit of $550 is due at the time an accepted student registers for the Bravo Brass program. Tuition balance is due by the first rehearsal of the concert season.
