Philadelphia, PA (March 7, 2024) – Philadelphia Youth Orchestra Music Institute (PYOMI), the tri-state region’s premier youth orchestra organization, proudly announces the appointment of Richard Clark as its new Director of Development. With over two decades of experience in arts and social justice based organizational advancement and a fervent commitment to community, Mr. Clark brings a wealth of expertise and passion to his new role.

Before joining PYO Music Institute, Mr. Clark served as the Chief Advancement Officer for The Rock School for Dance Education, where he spearheaded successful fundraising, marketing, and business management strategies. His accomplishments at The Rock School included leading organizational restructuring, initiating scholarship programs, and significantly increasing contributed revenues through various avenues.

Throughout his career, Mr. Clark has demonstrated a dedication to advancing the missions of arts and cultural organizations in four U.S. markets. His previous roles include serving as Director of Marketing & Communications at the Florentine Opera, where he pioneered innovative strategies to enhance donor engagement and broaden donor bases.
