The PYO Music Institute is pleased to announce that we are a proud recipient of a 2015 Philadelphia Cultural Fund grant award.  Grants such as these validate and recognize our efforts to provide unrivaled music pedagogy and performance opportunities to some of the most talented young musicians in one of the most culturally-rich, diverse, and emerging cities in the United States.

The Philadelphia Cultural Fund is a non-profit corporation established by Philadelphia’s Mayor and City Council in 1991 to support and enhance the cultural life and vitality of the City of Philadelphia and its residents. The Fund promotes arts and culture as engines of social, educational and economic development in the Philadelphia region. Grants are made from the City budget allocation to the Cultural Fund for operating support of Philadelphia-based arts and cultural organizations.

We are delighted this year to share the spotlight with so many growing, arts and culture and peer organizations throughout the City.  Again this year, it is an honor to represent the City of Philadelphia as one of its cultural jewels and to be bestowed a gift that continues to have such great impact for our students.

Program support for the Philadelphia Youth Organization is provided in part by the Philadelphia Cultural Fund.
