How long have you been a member of the PYO organization and in which ensembles did you participate? PYO for 2 years
Do you have any plans or activities planned over the summer?
Hidden Valley Elaine Douvas Seminar and performing at the Mann Center Concert with PYO and Maestro Nézet-Séguin.
What is one of your favorite PYO / PYAO / PYMO / Bravo Brass memories?
I enjoyed every minute of my time in PYO because of how rewarding it was to participate, but if I had to choose a particular moment, I would say that my best memory of PYO was my first concert with the orchestra, for a number of reasons: it was my first time playing in such an esteemed and large venue as the Kimmel Center, the repertoire for the concert was very rewarding despite its difficulty (La Mer, Tchaikovsky 4), and it was a moment of clarity for me to see all of my fellow orchestra members putting the same passion and hard work into music. In fact, I believe this is the moment that confirmed for me how enriching it is to seek a career in music performance.

What is one unique attribute about you that people find surprising? I have a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What do you see yourself doing? I see myself in a professional orchestra or taking auditions for one. Besides orchestral playing, I would love to perform solo recitals and travel to foreign venues.
