How long have you been a member of the PYO organization and in which ensembles did you participate?

I have been a Bravo Brass member for a year.

Do you have any plans or activities planned over the summer?

I will be participating in a community band that is mainly for the alumni of my high school.

What is one of your favorite Bravo Brass memories?

The Christmas Concert and playing wonderful pieces such and Greensleeves and Christmas classics such as Hark the Herald Angels Sing.

What are your most recent musical and/or academic achievements?

I was awarded the Marian Anderson Scholarship and have received over 15,000 dollars in scholarships sole focused on music for my college.

When you are not in rehearsal or practicing your instrument, what other activities or hobbies do you enjoy?

I enjoy singing in the choir and also playing all the other instruments I can play for fun. I also like reading and listening to music.

What is one unique attribute about you that people find surprising?

I’m a well rounded musician who is surprisingly shy and humble about her abilities and attributes of kindness and respect towards others.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What do you see yourself doing?

I see myself as a Music teacher possibly as a high school band director trying to achieve my doctorate and applying for more music opportunities and hoping to be a professor in a college teaching theory one day.
